Rust protection spray, 210 ml
NANOPROTECH Rust protection spray is an aerosol anti-corrosion coating that shields metal on cars and machinery from moisture and salt. Based on highly refined mineral oil, it displaces moisture, stops corrosion and stays on the surface as an elastic film that neither dries out nor freezes. It needs no surface preparation, and in hidden cavities and during storage it protects metal from oxidation for at least 1 year.
The 210 ml can (150 ml of product) is a compact size for spot treatment of fasteners and small areas of bodywork.

Questions and answers
How long does the protection last?
In hidden cavities and during storage, at least 1 year: the film stays elastic for a long time and does not dry out or freeze. On exposed areas — outer sills, wheel arches, the underbody — washing and road dirt gradually remove it, so check and renew the coating there after washes and before winter.
Does the surface need preparing before spraying?
No, no pre-treatment is needed. Shake the can, spray from 20–30 cm and wait 10 minutes.
Why does dust stick to treated areas?
The product stays on the metal as an elastic oily film — that is how it protects against corrosion. Dust can stick to the film on exposed areas, so spread out any excess.
Can it be used on brake discs and pads?
No. Do not apply it to any part of the braking system: discs, drums, pads, calipers, brake cylinders and their rubber seals. The can is flammable: do not spray near open flames, hot objects or live equipment.
How do I protect metal after removing rust?
Straight after it has dried, because bare metal quickly oxidises again. If the metal is to be painted, degrease it with a solvent and apply paint; if not, cover it with this spray. Rust converter goes only on rust that remains after removal, not on clean metal.

Do not apply to brake discs or pads! Pressurised container! Protect from direct sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above +50 °C. Do not store or spray near open flames, hot objects or live electrical equipment. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Use in a well-ventilated area. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water. Flammable! After use or once the shelf life has expired, dispose of as household waste. Does not deplete the ozone layer.
