Bike lubricant, 400 ml
NANOPROTECH Bike lubricant is an all-weather bike chain lube for the chain, drivetrain and other mechanisms that work in wet weather, mud and frost. Its highly refined mineral oil formula is not washed off by water, protects metal from corrosion, stops squeaks for a long time and prevents mechanisms from freezing down to −40 °C. Lubricate the chain every 100 km, and after every wash or ride in the rain.
The 400 ml aerosol can (300 ml of product) suits several bikes, bike workshops and preparing bikes for off-season storage.
What to use the bike lubricant on
- The chain — the main use: regular lubrication after washing and after rides in rain and mud.
- Sprockets and other drivetrain parts.
- Brake system and suspension components — but never the brake discs or pads.
- Bikes ridden in winter: the lube keeps mechanisms from freezing down to −40 °C.
- Bikes laid up for the off-season: the lube preserves the mechanisms and protects them from rust.
How the wet chain lube protects your chain
- A wet-type lube based on highly refined mineral oil.
- Is not washed off by water and stays on the chain after rides in the rain.
- Displaces moisture and provides chain rust protection.
- Stops squeaking for a long time and improves sliding.
- Extends the service life of the chain, drivetrain, brake and suspension components.
Which bikes it suits
Mountain, road and city bikes, e-bikes and motorised bicycles. The lube is designed for riding in wet weather, mud and winter, and for preserving the bike during the off-season.

Questions and answers
How often should I lubricate a bike chain?
Every 100 km, and after every wash and every ride in the rain. Apply the lube to a clean chain, turn the pedals to spread it through the links and wipe off the excess with a cotton cloth.
Why does my chain pick up dust after lubrication?
Because of excess lube. Like any wet lube, it attracts dust on dry dirt roads if too much is left on the chain. Clean the chain first (for example, with NANOPROTECH Chain cleaner), apply the lube, let it soak in and wipe the outer surfaces dry — the lube stays inside the links.
Can I ride in the rain and in winter with this lube?
Yes. It is not washed off by water, protects the chain from corrosion and keeps mechanisms from freezing down to −40 °C. It is also used to preserve the bike for the off-season.
Can the lube be applied to brake discs and pads?
No. Brake discs and pads must not be treated — keep the lube off them when lubricating the chain.
Is it suitable for e-bike chains?
Yes. It suits e-bikes and motorised bicycles as well as mountain, road and city bikes.
Used together with
- Chain cleaner — removes old lube and dirt from the chain before lubrication
- Silicone bike lubricant — for the fork, shocks, hubs and cables
