Motorbike chain cleaner, 400 ml
NANOPROTECH Motorbike chain cleaner is a motorcycle chain cleaner and degreaser that quickly dissolves stubborn dirt on drive chains and sprockets before fresh lube is applied. It removes old lubricant, oily deposits, dust, sand and ingrained dirt, including abrasive particles between the links. The product evaporates quickly, leaves no marks or streaks and is safe for rubber seals.
The 400 ml can (300 ml of product) suits regular chain cleaning for one motorcycle or quad bike.
When to clean a motorcycle chain
- Before every application of fresh lube.
- After off-road rides, when the drive is covered in sand, dust and heavy mud.
- When old thickened grease and road dirt have built up on the chain.

How do I clean a motorcycle chain before lubricating it?
Shake the can and spray the chain from 10–20 cm, focusing on the inner side of the links and areas with old lube. For heavy soiling, use a non-abrasive brush or cloth. Let the product evaporate completely and wipe the chain with a dry cloth.
Which lube should I apply after cleaning?
A motorbike chain lube from the same range: the off-road one for enduro and rough terrain, or the silicone road one. Apply it only once the chain is completely dry.
Is it safe for O-ring and X-ring chains?
Yes. The cleaner is safe for rubber seals and suits O-ring, X-ring and non-sealed chains.
Can it be used on paintwork or brakes?
No. Do not apply it to painted surfaces and keep it away from brake pads and discs.
At what temperature can the cleaner be used?
From −10 °C to +35 °C. Work in a well-ventilated area away from flames: the can is pressurised and the product is flammable.

Recommendation for use
1. Shake the can.
2. Spray onto the chain from a distance of 10–20 cm, focusing on the inner side of the links and areas with old lubricant. For heavy soiling, use a non-abrasive brush or cloth.
3. Let the product evaporate completely.
4. Wipe the chain with a dry cloth.
After cleaning and drying, apply a NANOPROTECH lubricant to the chain — off-road or silicone road. Do not apply to painted surfaces; avoid contact with brake pads and discs. Use the can at −10 °C to +35 °C.

Safety measures
Pressure bottle! Do not expose to sunlight and heating over 50°C. Do not keep and spray near open fire or hot items and live instruments. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not open the bottle and do not burn after use. Use in well-ventilated room. In case of eye contact, rinse with water. In case of skin contact, rinse with soapy water. INFLAMMABLE! After use or upon expiration of the shelf life, dispose as domestic waste. It does not damage the ozone layer.
