Industrial electric, bulk
NANOPROTECH Electric in bulk is the same dielectric coating composition, supplied to companies in 1, 5, 10, 20 and 30 l canisters and 200 l barrels. It displaces water from insulation and contacts and leaves a thin non-drying film that prevents short circuits, leakage currents, oxidation and corrosion. The coating restores insulation resistance without dismantling, works from −80 °C to +250 °C and protects for up to 1 year.
The bulk product comes in 1, 5, 10, 20 and 30 l canisters and 200 l barrels for companies with large fleets of electrical equipment.
Where Electric is used
- Damp or flooded electric motors: the coating is applied through inspection hatches without removing the motor from its mechanism.
- Switchboards, control cabinets, terminal blocks, relays, contactors and magnetic starters.
- Post insulators and bushings at 6–10 kV substations, to reduce leakage current.
- Cable clamps, junction boxes and connectors in street lighting.
- Equipment in damp basements, flood-prone pits, underground structures and outdoors.
- Machinery that is washed: electrical equipment can be started straight after washing.
- Preservation of standby motors and electrical equipment in storage.
How the dielectric coating works
- Displaces water from insulation surfaces and contact groups.
- Prevents short circuits and surface current leakage.
- Restores, maintains and improves the insulation resistance of equipment in damp conditions.
- Lowers contact resistance: the film does not block current, so contacts neither overheat nor spark.
- Protects contacts against oxidation, corrosion, fungus and mould.
- Harmless to metals, plastics, rubber, glass, lacquers, paints, ceramics and electric motor materials.
Industries
Moisture protection for electrical equipment in water and wastewater utilities and pumping stations, district heating networks and central heating substations, power grids and electrical substations, street and architectural lighting, urban electric transport, bridges, metro systems and other underground structures.

Questions and answers
How is Electric applied?
Only to de-energised equipment, at −20 °C to +35 °C: the product is flammable and must not be sprayed onto live devices. Shake the can and spray from 20–30 cm; the product starts working after 15 minutes.
How can I restore insulation resistance of a motor without dismantling it?
Spray the windings and terminal box of the de-energised motor through the inspection hatches, leaving the motor in place. On damp windings the full effect develops within 4–24 hours, so take the control insulation resistance measurement a day later.
How does Electric differ from a conformal coating or contact lacquer?
It is applied on site without dismantling or removing equipment, and its film stays non-drying, which is its working state. It is therefore used inside enclosures, cabinets and connections, as open surfaces collect dust. It can be removed with PCB cleaner, brake cleaner or alcohol.
What is the difference between Electric and Dielectric?
Both protect electrics from moisture and current leakage for about a year. Electric is the industrial version, with a −80 °C to +250 °C operating range and a 5-year shelf life; it also restores insulation resistance and protects contacts against fungus and mould. Dielectric is the mass-market product for vehicles and the home.
Will Electric repair damaged insulation?
No. It works on damp insulation and will not restore mechanically damaged insulation or a winding with a breakdown or open circuit. Treatment does not replace drying, overhaul or insulation acceptance testing.
Used together with
- Dielectric — the mass-market version for vehicles, machinery and the home
- Industrial anticorrosion — corrosion protection for metal structures, fasteners and mechanisms
- Electrical contact cleaner — removes dirt and oxidation from contacts
Recommendation for use
Apply at −20 °C to +35 °C. Make sure the electrical equipment is disconnected from the mains. Shake the can before use. Spray onto the surface from a distance of 20–30 cm. Allow 15 minutes for the product to start working.
Composition
Highly refined mineral oil <60%; antioxidants 10–20%; anti-corrosion additives 5–10%; functional additives 5–10%; paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons <5%; hydrocarbon propellant.
